The congress will be hosted in Barcelona, the capital of the Autonomous Community of Catalonia in Spain. Barcelona is important for its finance, commerce, media, art, culture and international trade. The 9th International Conference on Interaction Design and Children will take place at Pompeu Fabra University (UPF). UPF is a public university created by the Catalan government in 1990 with the vocation for excellence, renewal and the modernisation of the university system of Catalonia.

UPF has several campus and buildings in different places of Barcelona. IDC 2010 will take place at the new Communication-Poblenou Campus, in the heart of new 22@ district, the whole south-eastern quadrant of the city, where the most innovative companies co-exist with research, training and tech transfer centers.

From the airport to the city centre
The best alternative to get to the citiy centre is the AEROBUS. You can take the AEROBUS in front of the Terminal A, Terminal B and Terminal C.
